Apart from having a safaris to Uganda’s primate National park’s and national reserves like Kibale, Budongo, Kyambura and Maramagambo, One can be able to trace and have a spectacular experience of these close cousins to human, by taking a trip to Ngamba Island chimpanzee sanctuary located on Lake Victoria- 23km southwest of Entebbe, the island is part the Koome group of islands and it provides refugee to chimps.

Day 01: Transfer by boat from Entebbe (UWEC) to Ngamba Island and evening activity

Day 01: Transfer from Entebbe mainland to Ngamba Island -approximately 45minutes-1hrs & 30mins

Begin with early breakfast at your overnight accommodation, transfer early enough to the island offices in Entebbe. Finalize arrangements to visit the sanctuary and briefing, transfer to the Island south west of Entebbe by speed boat taking about 45minutes/motorized canoe-1hr and 30minutes /a charter flight can be arranged from kajjansi or Entebbe Airport taking about 20minutes. Participate in chimps feeding experience at either 11:00am or 2:30pm depending on arrival time. Lunch at the island and in evening follow the cool waters of Lake Victoria on a breathtaking sunset cruise -crossing the two hemispheres. Dinner and overnight at Ngamba Island tented camp. Full Board.

Day 02: Nature experience and cruise back to Entebbe mainland and transfer to Kampala/Entebbe

Breakfast at the camp and set into the forest for another encounter with the wild as you participate in chimpanzee integration of about 1hr. Transfer from the Island to Entebbe mainland. Drive to Entebbe/ back to Kampala.
